In November 2018, Studio Butch approached me to help them create an augmented reality activated poster for their new Dick's Sporting Goods pop-up shop in Chicago. The poster integrates seamlessly into the store design, to keep the main attention on the store itself. As the JDI branded tape is a core element of the interior, it is the main focus of the poster as well. The animation of the poster is simple, yet bold. The branded tape is spread
across the background, while the large check mark is revealed in it's 3D tape-wrapped form through rotation. The contrasting color separates the mark further from the background, before looping back to its original form. Every customer received one poster with a purchase and was able to try out the AR function, to create a more immersive in-store experience.
